Located this brick in the undergrowth on the Ravenhead Greenway near Thatto Heath. Found quite a few in this area but this differed as it had an A on it. Good colour and quite clean.
Dourie is the brick mark of P and M. Hurll from the Gartliston Brickworks,
Glenboig, Lanarkshire, Scotland. How it got to Thatto heath and where it was used is a bit of mystery. It was found close to some Upholland bricks as well.
