Waiting for a train to Manchester today that was delayed and then cancelled before coming two hours later. Had a chance to look at the brickwork in the shelter and spotted H.C.G Co. Unable to find any record of the brick mark as yet.
The station buildings are listed, they were constructed about 1860-68 by the London & North Western Railway,
